We here at Intrigued just wanted to take a quick moment to extend our best wishes for a very Merry Christmas (or related holiday event) to all or wonderful readers!
It’s that time of year when we shut the lights off and close the office doors for a few days so we can enjoy this special holiday with family and friends. Hit the jump to see a few more warm tidings from our staff!
We scaled back on our Christmas decor this year due to our early escape from the Midwestern tundra, but we did manage to get our trees up and trimmed!
With all the chaos at the corporate Christmas party (and having to keep an extra close eye on the legal department antics), I forgot to get our annual staff Christmas shot. Decided to substitute in a few shots from earlier in the year.
Holiday wishes from the desert! As you can tell from the extra clothing, not exactly the warm temps we were expecting on our trip through Arizona back in January.
The good news is we have safely made it down to Texas for the holidays, so no coats needed now!!!
The boys also wanted to send their Christmas woofs your way. That’s Raven on the left and his little brother Ruger on the right.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays from Brad, Jan and Allyson. Here they are having a great time at Lair O’ the Bear in Colorado.
…and we can’t forget about our four legged editor staff. Merry Meows from Elfie – the only one dedicated enough to still be at work to get this holiday post out! She’ll be getting an exceptional rating this year for sure.

Thank you Tanja. We are officially in Texas now and enjoying the warm weather and excellent birding – although currently chasing a very rare Caracara that has managed to allude me for 4 days already. Best wishes for a happy New Year … maybe it will include a trip down south!?!?!

Hahahaha, sorry about that Jerry. If it helps, I had to put a light jacket on yesterday due to a storm front that came through (we were actually under a tornado watch). Had a good laugh today as we were walking the beach – someone had made two “snow”men out of sand complete with sticks for arms and a carrot for the noses. Take care and stay warm up there.
